JANE FLYNN

Founder & Teacher

My name is Jane Flynn. Welcome to Be You Yoga. I recently left the corporate world after spending over twenty years as a human capital consultant at Deloitte Consulting and Bank of Montreal. During that time, I advised senior executives on the human side of large scale transformational change. Always focused on people and helping them navigate positive change. 

 

Yoga has been important to me for the past few decades. However, it was challenging to find time to practice while balancing a demanding career, raising a young active family and wanting an intense cardio workout. I would opt for a spin class, a quick run or squeeze in a cross fit class. Yoga would happen once every few weeks. Now that I have spent more time consistently integrating yoga into my daily life, my overall wellbeing has dramatically improved. Regularly taking time to decompress by quieting my mind and restoring my body has been transformative. I have found what fuels me. I opened By You Yoga to provide others a space where they can take time for themselves, away from their daily routines and explore their own wellness practices. It has been invigorating and incredibly rewarding to see the community grow.

 

Always interested to learn and evolve, I listened to feedback from community members regarding an opportunity to include Pilates. As a result we have integrated Mat Pilates and Yogalates into our weekly schedule. These classes focus on strengthening targeted muscle groups to improve overall mobility and toning. All classes begin with mindfulness and breath work.

 

I look forward to seeing you in the studio to achieve your optimal fitness and wellness goals.

EMILY SANN

Hi, I’m Emily Sann. I am a mom, wife, yoga teacher, health coach, meditation and yoga Nidra instructor, and am finishing up my pilates certification. I found a love of yoga after playing college basketball in the United States and professionally overseas. I love to teach classes that are challenging, balanced, and leave you feeling your best. I'm excited to bring my 16 years of teaching experience to Be You Yoga!
